Hi, been viewing this forum for a week or so and have now decided to take the step and start making a few parts in carbon. 

Looking at eventually making carbon panels for race cars and a few supercar panels for a company that I work for.

I have no experience at all so going to start with something small to mould and hopefully learn from my mistakes.

Looking forward to getting started and I am sure that I will be back on here soon to pick your brains when I make a mistake.

Any ideas what your first test project is going to be ?
My first test project was a simple tea tray that I made many many composites trays and looking back I learned so much from that little mould.

Hi, my first mould is of a money tray that I borrowed from the local harvester, first lost vacuum during and second lost vac about 45 mins after I infused it because I decided to move it and the feed in line leaked.  Both have actually turned out ok but its all good as I am learning a lot. I will be doing another this morning as soon as I have cleaned the mould. 

First big project will be body panels for race cars and various supercars, most will be painted but I want to get the finish perfect on every single one.
