Not seen this before so would appreciate your thoughts. Stack is top layer of pro finish, backed with 2 layers of black stuff, fair bit of EC fusionfix to hold it all in place. Mould was unimould, but not a polished finish as I was only planning on doing the one ...
Using IN2 infusion resin, 50/50 fast/slow, though I've noticed the fast hardner has now gone a little yellow...
cured for 24hrs at 30degC with the aid of an electric blanket and sleeping bag
This my 4th attempt at making this window vent, having played with various stacks and also trying GC50 along the way, for this latest attempt I've cut the pro finish like prepreg and I seem to have consistently got the edges right this time!
I would like to get a cosmetic finish on this, so will sand and laquer. All my other parts to date have not needed a cosmetic finish, so any advice? can I use 1k laquer?
