Not seen this before so would appreciate your thoughts. Stack is top layer of pro finish, backed with 2 layers of black stuff, fair bit of EC fusionfix to hold it all in place.  Mould was unimould, but not a polished finish as I was only planning on doing the one ...

ps the trimmed one is the first attempt, so don't worry about the voids.  I made this as 2piece mold, but will do the other side as a single since my second attempt popped out while removing the peelply!

Did you spray with tackspray on the mouldsurface as well?

thanks, i did indeed apply the fusion fix to the mould surface, was expecting to see dots on surface to wipe/sand off afterwards. The blue tinges in the resin on the sharper edges was unexpected.

Certainly not an affect of spray tack that I've seen before, but I've only used Fusionfix once. This looks different to me though. 

A long shot but is your spray tack dripping at the nozzle by any chance,

ive just been using some spray fix and used a piece of white signboard behind as a guard,

I notice that the spray looks blue when a thick layer built up on the white board.

Thanks guys, agreed it's most likely the fusion fix, clearly I was a bit heavy handed with it! Will put some pics up of the finished item, it's for my track car so doesn't need to be perfect

Probably worth trying to just mist it from distance onto the fabric prior to laying down and being wary to let it settle a little first.

You don't usually need a lot of spray tack to give you the adhesion you need
