Hi everyone,i skin parts for automotive interiors with cf using the ec high temp epoxy resin,after the wrapping i wet the fabric with epoxy,after 24hours i sand with 120grit and after that add 2 layers of epoxy when the first is at tack free stage.

Sounds a bit strange to me ... I have never had Amine blush problems with the High-temp resin -- ???  But it does take a very long time to cure completely .. I have only used high temp for skinning once, and had no problems. It was cured at 50 -60 deg. C. for 24 hours + a bit -- Then postcured at 100 for 2 hours, just to raise the Tg a bit.. (Non critical part)

The high temperature resin is not perfectly colourless to begin with. It is a slight pale amber in colour. That is probably what you can see in certain light on that part.

I agree with Warren in that the ht resin is not water clear.

can I ask why you've used it on the box, would have thought normal laminating resin would have been ok.

In greece under a hot summer day i measure 85 celcious into the car,it became extremely hot and the other clear resins i used,made a heavy  print through,i post curedbthem but their tg was 60-70,so they became printed through.
