Hello everybody

I want to define mechanical properties for Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) composite material, 
But I have a problem with the shear test; CSM has random- discontinuous fibers and I don't know how to cut the specimen in _+45 for shear test.  
Is it similar to tensile specimens?

                 That's up to you isn't it! It will depend on what you are comparing it to and the weight of CSM...
