Hi,

What is the best way to cut / trim and finish the edges of Kevlar / aramid parts after demolding so that they do not end up with a 'furry' edge?

I am using a high speed Dremel-type tool with a diamond cutting disc (the carbide discs are too thin and delicate, and shatter too easily) to cut the cured Kevlar but it leaves a slightly fuzzy edge. Is there a way to finish these edges so that they have a cleaner finish (like sanded carbon edges)?

Thanks,

Phil.

Use wet sanding to remove the Kevlar "fuzz'
