Can anybody point me to epoxy resin system that does not use a yellow-ish hardener? Possibly something more neutral like blue or something? I am using an amazing epoxy resin system from a German company, but the hardener is yellow and in bright sunlight, you can see the yellow tint on the infused things....Anybody got a clue? Possibly a pigment that I can put in the hardener? I know Koenigsegg uses some kind of pigment to tint the resin to whatever color they want but still keep it transparent...

Both the EC EL2 and IN2 seems to be almost water-clear (no yellow tint, that I can discern) West Systems "Normal" Resin and Hardener is the same, but their "Coating Hardener" has a distinct yellow tint, something to do with the UV resistance I think.

Maybe the German stuff you have is UV-stabilized coating Epoxy?  which could explain the yellow tint.

Also I found  that West systems hardener gets more yellow with age, but then we are talking several years storage in varying conditions.. Cool and dark storage is a must for any Epoxy system components.
West systems have gone back to using metal cans, since that removes most of the problem of light affecting the long term storage of the resin or hardener.

I keep all my Epoxy resins in one closed cupboard, and all hardeners in a separate closed but ventilated cupboard.
