I do not think the company in question is trying to deceive its customers, I just think they are promoting their products on some odd points, regarding the properties of the materials used ...
Does "Joe Public" think that adding CF covered in Polyester will make his car (Interior) more flammable ? Does he think that the surface of Skinned parts scratch more easily than normal plastic car parts ?? Does he care?
As long as it looks good ...
I have never had anyone, customer or not, ask about scratches, or if the skinned parts were more flammable than the original plastic parts ...
