Thanks Warren. I am sure there will be changes to the model and even more on the full scale version. The secret is to let the client think that any changes are all their idea.

Managed to get the last bits of detailing done on the model interior,exhaust etc before the client arrived.

Dont be surprised if the other kit car mags call too.

There seems to not be much new in the market at the moment so all the kit car mags are featuring the same cars down to all the 3 main mags having the same DNA ferrari copy on the cover in the same month!!!!!

You weren't wrong Warren, had two emails this morning one from another kit car mag and the other from a French motoring magazine both wanting to run features. The power of the internet eh.

The model makes a very good presentation!

The CAD air flow models for traditional Lotus 7 cars make a brick look aerodynamic.  Tough job to make the car push through the wind easier without losing the styling of a Seven.  Again, nice work!

Managed to make a start on the plug for the full size version. Still a long way to go with plenty of bogging and sanding to do.

Would love to see this progress! You wouldn't need an assistant in the Carbon Copies workshop would you?

I live just outside of Derby, so it's some distance from you. Thanks for the offer. I'm looking at getting my project off the ground, but without the experience and facilities it's hardgoo'in'. So I'm considering assisting someone, or working part time to get more confidence producing composite parts.
