Hi eveybody! is there any limit in shape and size when C.N.C. a piece of PS foam? Mine has a triangular profile with no constant section and is no big (50 cm long by 3 cm wide). I need to use it as a core in part production and I think it is easier than make a PUR foam casting. Thanks

Just so you know, polystyrene will react with any styrene based resins you use and the hardeners of some polyurethanes.

Thanks for your advice. The PS foam is to be used with wpoxy resins, and I believe it does not react with PS.

What is the density of the PS foam as it can be very hard to CNC machine the grade that is used for packaging protection etc?
