Id say thats taken a whack.

Thicker the gelcoat, the more succeptable you are to cracks occuring with flex.

Ok, I'll try to measure/estimate the thickness as soon I get the part back.
I think it is thicker than 0.2mm. Have to be softer with the spray gun I guess.

Never had that with GC50 Hard to tell from the picture but the gelcoat does look pretty thick to me, especially around the corner area. You only need about 0.2mm.

Apparently this occured during the shipping but the package was ok and I suspect others reasons :

- Could it be due to the fact I left the gel coat (EC GC50) cure too long (more than 24hrs), causing delamination ?

- Or would it be because of the GC50 thickness (but does not seem too thick for me) ?

any other clue ?
