Hello all,

I need to make a two part mould of an object made of wood that's surface is lacquered, but I'm very keen not to damage the object.

Could you recommend the best suited molding method for this? The piece no larger that 600mm x 400mm x 150mm. The mold should be reusable also.

Many thanks,
Adam

One extra remark, make sure your wood is sealed, the exotherm reaction, creating heat, could make evaporate some water in the wood, causing some reactions on the mouldsurface.
seen it online once, also wood whill could absorb resin and expand... don't want to scare you but those are some things that could happen, I might as well be wrong Smile
