One extra remark, make sure your wood is sealed, the exotherm reaction, creating heat, could make evaporate some water in the wood, causing some reactions on the mouldsurface.
seen it online once, also wood whill could absorb resin and expand... don't want to scare you but those are some things that could happen, I might as well be wrong
