Hi,

I have used Flash tape as a resin barrier at the junction between the 2 pieces of a 2-part mould for prepreg (mould made using EC high temp gelcoat and high temp putty, prepreg is EC Xpreg). But to my surprise, when demoulding the part, the tape was really stuck on the prepreg. Impossible to easily remove. Only with a very thin blade...and sand paper. I actually saw here that someone else experienced this. Any suggestion? Should I simply change tape ? Shall I use PTFE tape instead ?

Thanks !

You can also give it a quick wipe with some release agent and it will come off easily.
