Group: Forum Members Posts: 25, Visits: 1.1K	The GDH-14 is great but the solution is 1mbar while our Vac Checker has 0.01mbar. That helps a lot with drop tests. Also the VacChecker shows the boiling point of water at ambient temperature and actual vacuum. This helps to see if there is water in the setup. The VacChecker als has connectors that can be changed in case they brake or you need different diameters and has two connectors so it can be used inline. As the price is similar and VacChecker is more robust I know what I would choose. Before someone starts to say of course I say that because it is our product I just want to say we used the GDH 14 before and we had the problems mentioned above that’s why we decided to develop the VacChecker with Testo.

If you are doing infusion or resin degassing, most infusion catch pots and degassing chambers have a gauge built in or attached to them so you won't often need another one.

The vac checker is a truly amazing product. There is simply nothing I would change about it. But I have to say that it was my first digital gauge, and still is my only one.
