I'm making a large number of small prepreg parts. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions to facilitate the removal of the backing film from prepregs and glue films (I'm using XC110). I've been using freeze spray which works well but isnt particularly sustainable. I've also tried nicking an edge which works buy is quite slow. Any secret tips out there to quickly/easily remove backer film?

Instead of freeze spray you could use an aluminum block that you keep in the freezer and take out to use. It's not ideal because of the condensation but can be helpful if freeze spray isn't an option. I had one about the size of a soda can covered in adhesive teflon but a zip-lock bag would do too. That and a small Exacto-knife works pretty well.
Never tried it but could a cold-block and (clean) compressed air from a small blow-gun work?
