hi ive started doing carbon skinning recently and im having a issue the epoxy i bought said that it cures clear and hard. That being said I did a part and messed up using adhesive instead of the epoxy to bond it and after one coat it lifted so that was trash. Now when I removed it the outer coat was soft like a rubber but I followed all the directions to a t and have this issue and it sat for like a week. I'm wondering it i might have done something wrong or what. Any pointers will be welcome cause I have 2 parts ready to be coated now i just don't want to keep wasting the carbon weave material. Thank you

Ensure you strictly follow the mixing ratio and also mix it thoroughly.  Also ensure you have left it long enough to fully harden and cure.  Most resins will go through a rubbery stage as they cure so if it had lifted and you peeled it off before the resin had cured, then that might explain it.

I left it on for a week before I took it off just cause I never had time to go back to it till then
