hi ive started doing carbon skinning recently and im having a issue the epoxy i bought said that it cures clear and hard. That being said I did a part and messed up using adhesive instead of the epoxy to bond it and after one coat it lifted so that was trash. Now when I removed it the outer coat was soft like a rubber but I followed all the directions to a t and have this issue and it sat for like a week. I'm wondering it i might have done something wrong or what. Any pointers will be welcome cause I have 2 parts ready to be coated now i just don't want to keep wasting the carbon weave material. Thank you

What temperature are you working in? If you are in a cold environment (under 15 C), epoxy can stay rubbery for a very long time.

If you're in a warm environment (over 20 C) and your epoxy is rubbery after a week, then it will be a mixing issue. Most likely off-ratio.

I used mixing cups 1oz to 1oz and it was about 75 to 80 but it was in my shed so im sure it got hotter
