Hi, I'm currently restoring a trunk lid and my plan is to do a split mold as in EC hood-mould tutorial. I have one question though.
As seen in the picture the outside skin is wrapped around the inside. I'm wonder if is is anything I have to think about with that edge ? I'm using wax on it to prevent mechanical lock. have anyone done something similar that can show a picture of their mould ?

You make it in the exact same manner that EC did with their bonnet tutorial. All 2-skin metal panels will be made with that crimped join, thats how they do it. If you have a look in the EC video, you...
