Hi, I'm currently restoring a trunk lid and my plan is to do a split mold as in EC hood-mould tutorial. I have one question though. 
As seen in the picture the outside skin is wrapped around the inside. I'm wonder if is is anything I have to think about with that edge ? I'm using wax on it to prevent mechanical lock. have anyone done something similar that can show a picture of their mould ?

You make it in the exact same manner that EC did with their bonnet tutorial. All 2-skin metal panels will be made with that crimped join, thats how they do it. If you have a look in the EC video, you will see they have the same crimp and can watch what they do with it. For composites, you will just end up with that lip on the inside skin, but it obviously wont wrap around from the outer skin anymore.
