Hi!

I am setting up the OV301 curing oven but are having some problems with finding a satisfying ramp and cure reading on my termometer.
The manual provides instruction for doing a PID autotune, but is it possible to set the values manual?
Also do i need to preform the autotune before each curing cycle?

Thanks in advance!

You can go deeper into the settings and change more than is shown in the standard manual. However you will need to take care when doing this.  As such I have enclosed a link to the PID manufacturers manual which you should try and work from.

PID Controller Manual.

Thanks very much!

The PID autotune is working good now and i am very happy with the curve.

But I have a question about the temperature readings I am getting. I have three termometers. The first termometer is placed on the bottom to the far right. The second one in the middle, both in height and width. and the third in the upper left corner.
As the temperature increase the greater the temperature difference become in the oven.  There is a 8 degrees celsius difference between the top left and the bottom right. Is this reading normal or is there a way to get a more evenly distributed temperature?

Regards.

This is pretty much them same as with ours. It works well enough for most things, but i wouldn't call it "precision curing oven" myself. Do you have a second tray in it? This makes it quite a bit worse...
