I'm finding that I can't get rid of the bubbles in the resin cup prior to doing an infusion and I need a degassing chamber.

I've seen them advertised but if I'm correct you put the resin cup in the chamber and pull a negative pressure same as the resin infusion extraction system.... So could I in theory just use the little resin infusion chamber I have now?

If so I might make a slightly larger chamber and put a link to the pump and pull a pressure to it as same time as the part as required?

If this isn't would can someone exactly explain were my understanding is wrong :-)

yes it works the same as the catch pot you have.

i can't see how you could plumb it in to the system to degas the same time your pulling a vac in your mould. it has been mentioned on this forum about making a chamber to degas resin in and it worked very well for him, try doing a search for it
