Dear Collegues
I try to overcome the surface porosity of my prepreg detail (or decrease the quantity) and I need to know what does "spiking the 1st ply prepreg" means. Could you please tell me what it is? Maybe there is some video with it?

Never used this myself but I believe it refers to "perforating" the prepregs with a needle roller prior to the layup to improve air evacuation. But i honestly cannot see that making much of a...
