Group: Forum Members Posts: 24, Visits: 69	Hi, anyody can help me? how to determine the new resin/hardener ratio when liquid epoxy resin has been loaded with intert fillers to form a putty? first case is when hardener is neat, and second case is when hardener also has been filled with inert loads. Thanks!

There is a formulation that involves EEW, AHEW , gmol/eq, but I have not find it still

Don't know why talc would be different ?,never used it but with slate powder,mica fill,micro ballons an every other thickner just used normal ratio

Keep to the recommended ratio. Vary from this and the resin will not cure properly, as I understand it. If you want a quicker cure time, use a fast hardener and a slight increase in the surrounding.....

Mmmm, no... I use talc all the time. The ratio stays the same. If it's a 2:1 ratio, it doesn't matter how much talc you add, the ratio of resin to hardener stays at 2:1. If you have 1000g of resin,.....
