Question on heat cycling and pressure capabilities

I have seen it used on parts that lived in the engine bays of cars, so I would assume it is plenty stable to make it through multiple heat cycles. Anyone have experience with this? I am also wondering how carbon holds up to fluid pressure. I was looking to make some intercooler piping and was thinking about how to make it strong enough to hold 100psi of air pressure. Thanks in advance The carbon isn't the problem, it's the resin that has to cope with the heat cycles, as I understand it. There are a lot of resins out there so there should be one suitable for your purpose. In order to achieve their maximum temp resistance, they usually require post curing. With regard to intercooler piping, there is no problem as long as the pipe is made thick enough.
