Question on heat cycling and pressure capabilities

How does carbon fiber hold up to thermal cycling? I have seen it used on parts that lived in the engine bays of cars, so I would assume it is plenty stable to make it through multiple heat cycles. Anyone have experience with this?

I am also wondering how carbon holds up to fluid pressure. I was looking to make some intercooler piping and was thinking about how to make it strong enough to hold 100psi of air pressure.

Thanks in advance
