GlassCast 3 will still work for this project. In the past, people have poured it up to 10mm in one pour, although you would get better results doing this in 2 pours. First fill in the inlay so it is level with the table, then once the resin is part cured and firm but tacky, then go for the second coat over the whole table. This is a better way for 2 reasons: one, in this warm weather, it is less likely to get any heat distortion doing it in 2 stages, and secondly, doing it in two pours will give you a smoother overall finish as you are less likely to get any 3D effect on the surface from the inlay.
