Hi all

I am contemplating making a kayak which will need a mould, but before i make the mould i want to design the shape of the hull so i can judge the waterline based on the weight of the boat and paddler.

Does anybody know of any software (hopefully free) where i can try different shapes without having to make a mould and hope i got my sums correct?

If you can get me an IGES or 3D file (that I can open in Solidworks), I could run it through the Maxsurf suite.
