Hi!
There is few topics about ovens, but I wanted to make a new one, as this oven will be quite big one. Oven will have 100mm Stone wool element walls (same as u see in new warehouse walls, has steel sheets in both sides).
Inner oven size will be around: 3000x2000x1300mm.
I will buy the PID controller and other electronics from local company that sells industrial ovens and parts.

I have pretty clear idea about the construction, but I have been thinking what would be the best way to mount the heating element? I have seen many different constructions. Some of the builders put it inside of  separated box and use fan to move the air. Some just put it inside the oven near the roof, to "hang freely". I am thinking that should I make air intake at the roof and blow them out at sides. Or just simply put a fan or two to move the air. Probably 10KW of heating elements should be enough for oven of this size.

Basically I need 150 degrees of heat, in order to get my pre-preg part to cure in 2 minutes. 120 degree would take 7 minutes. I have made test with smaller oven and had quite good results. Heating Rate 25°C/min is good.

Suggestions and ideas? How would u attach the heating element and make the air move?

I will probably go for Wachendorff Universal PID-Controller UR4848.
http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/175000-199999/197841-da-01-en-UNIVERSAL_REGLER_UR484802_24_230_V_AC_DC.pdf

With this I could use 1000mm long thermocouple.

I am considering of making the heating elements for 2 walls that facing each other. Units could be long ones mounted from roof to near the floor.

My oven is 4m x 1m x 1m, the top opens and is help up with gas struts and the front can also open but mostly I open the top and place the parts on movable rack/timbers.

If the forum would let me upload pictures I could show you much more and explain my fan arrangement!
