Just wondering  which release agent would be good for two applications:
1)  a barrier between two fiberglass layers - i.e. for stopping the two halves  of a jacket mould over silicone 1 part mould from sticking together

2) a release agent between the silicone mould and the lay up fiberglass inside this mould to make a cast.  I want the surface of the caset to be very high gloss so I am using gel coat with wax to make a top coat.  I don't want the surface of this coat to be tainted by the release agent.

Would Number 8 Wax  work for both applications or should I use Number 8 Wax for  release agent in between the two halves of the jacket mould and Cil silicone release spray for laying up the fiberglass in the silicone mould?  I don't want the release agent to affect the surface of the fiberglass resin topcoat.
