Hi all,
I've got a hardtop for a lotus exige I'm trying to take a mould from, I've painted the roof in 2k paint, however after sitting around for a while there was some minor damage (large paint chip) requiring filler to correct.
My question is can I just Polish the filler with the rest of the roof before taking a mould? I don't mind having to Polish up the mould surface later on I'm just not sure if it will release properly using release agent.

Thanks for the offer but I'm in central Scotland so a bit far. I have a devilbiss with 1.3 tip so can give it a go with that.
