I was wondering if anybody tried to powder coat an aluminium mold for a carbon part. It's a vacuum bag part and is not going to the autoclave.
Just thinking a light coat to cover small scratches and after a +/_ 1000 sandpaper

Its not something we have experimented with so it would be hard to tell how well powder coat would...
