Took my 3mm thick FC plate to fablab where they have nice cnc router, wanted to cut out some arms for quadcopter frame. All went well but the router bits did not last long. I never used that sort of machine before, so i have few questions, first of what kind of bit i should use for CF ?
How about the rpm ? and speed ?
Any info regarding to this topic is appreciated

thanks

My preference for cutting plate is to use abrasive water jet.

The user just needs to consider where the water starts cutting as it can delaminate a plate where it starts. Start away from the part you need to cut and continue cutting without stop/starts if possible.

Only good for cutting profiles of course.

I have other shaped/contoured  plate cut with routers but I don't know what their cutters are.
