I have a mould that i cleaned with the mould cleaner. Then I applyed easy lease, apx 7 coats.

i used a brush to apply the G50 gelcoat. I could not get a even coat, because i got holes in the coat. Looked like the mould had been contaminated by chemicals, but iam shure it isnt. The gelcoat cured for a couple of hours before i took i of. Iam cleaning again with the mould cleaner but it dont seem to evaporise like it i remember it does. It still look like the mould is contaminated.

Any ideas?

This is the age old problem! The better the release, the more likely it is to create such a high surface tension that your resin/gel will shrink back.

PVA is neutral, and the GC50 will sit nicely on it. But you will have the same problem getting the PVA on the chemical release.

Waxing over chemical release will help as mentioned, but you are mixing products which can be difficult!

Spraying the GC50 will work, with a bit of effort in the application.
I spray the GC50 in a fine mist first and then leave it 3 mins, then I spray again and it's much better, another 3/5 mins and the last coat goes on and usually it's now covering completely. It's as if the first layer gasses off it's volatiles, and "settles" a bit. The second coat continues this... and the 3/4th ones are now going down on a "settled" base.

That's what I do, I'd love to hear other techniques though.
