Hi!

I would like to start doing parts of the composite.
What do you think about this kits:

For the mold making products, it depends what kind of part you will want to do.

If it's a small part (for example a dish or a car headlight surrounding) then the mold making putty + green epoxy gelcoat system will work just fine.

If the part is larger (for example a car's hood), then putty will be more tricky to apply properly in one take, especially if you're alone. And it will take a lot of time. There is another mold making method that EC sells. It is called the UniMold system.  It is used to mold a car hood, and then the video also shows how to make the carbon fiber part (its a three part video). For the infusion kit, I'd recommend you to buy the kit WITH the pump, since everything has proved to work right. Many of us have it and I never heared someone complaining about it.
