hi guys, I would like to hear at what temperatures you guys cure your pre preg parts at? I have an oven which I can get up to 70 degrees quite easily, but getting it up to 80 degrees will require some work on my home made oven > can i cure at 70 degrees? if so do i just extend the oven time to say 11hours??

Hi !

Normally, prepreg is curing at 120ºC or 180°C (class 120 / class 180). But you can find "low temperature" prepreg that curing at 80°C. You have to read the technical data sheet of your prepreg to know the curing cycle.

I never heard of prepreg that curing at 70°C, the lower that I now is 80ºC, so i think you will have to do some modifications on your over Wink !
