We have both polyester and polyurethane water clear resins AND pigments. As long as you choose the right resin system pigment you will be fine.

would you please tell me if the white and black dyes you have for sale (500g tins) are for your water clear casting resin?

thanks, I ordered from you yesterday  the clear polyester casting resin & your colours, so hears hoping it will be better. will let you know after it arrives and we try it. shepps 

Without knowing which resin I cant advise.  If its one of our resins then it will almost certainly have the mix ratio clearly written on the container.

Most pigments are added in small quantities so will likely make only a very small difference to the properties of the resin.

my hubby (novice at this) is trying to make  acrylic blanks  from clear casting resin to make pens. so far his attempts (not good). they have been very hard and brittle not good for turning on lathe. Can you suggest for 2 ozs of resin, how much catalyst to use

and does adding liquid colour make a difference to hardness. hears hoping for an answer!
