You will definitely need an active and powerful extraction ventilation if you are HVLP spraying Polyester based coatings..
Styrene is very smelly stuff, and will probably "contaminate" neighboring storage/workshop spaces with smell, unless you have very strong extraction ventilation.
Epoxies are not a problem at all, most of them give off almost no vapours
Since you will probably be grinding and cutting the finished parts, a combined dust and air extraction is ideal, although you can use an industrial vacuum cleaner for the grinding and cutting.
When I spray EC's GC50, which is a polyester based gelcoat, i run a 200Watt extraction fan, with 6" tubing, with a 15" funnel directly over my work-table.
My workshop which is only 12' x 12' and an 8' ceiling still gets very smelly ..
