Hi todayis a good day

Mold is finish and it’s 100% perfekt no pinhols inside. Thiswas my first mold with the unimold system and I must say this ist he best Moldsystem I ever see.  On question tot he guysfrom easycomposites. Is it possibel to order only 5kg of the Uni-Mould ToolingResin? Know I must polish the mold.

I would be interested in your lay up,and are you using alluminium inserts as fixings in laminate.looking good.

Looks like a really nice symmetrical tail section. Did you shape it freehand or did you use some other technique?

Sorry for my long delay. But thair‘s a lot of work at the end oft he yaer. I’am not so happy about the mold, because the split level of the mold was rally bad, and build the mold in two parts was a big misstak. So I decide the bild a new Mold with a better splitlevel and with tree parts for the mold

Hi all

The end ofthe year is coming and the first tail is finish. It is not perfect but after pantingit will work. I don’t like full carbon optic. The weight of the tail is 1, 7 kg.

So this is selfsupporting without subframe?
and you infused it?
what I want to know is first this, you obviously have many layers of carbon at the attachment point (to the frame),
did you have any problems with infusing that many layers?
Also, did you only use carbon weave, of also UD carbon around those areas? if you did, how did that work in the infusion?

And since this a 2 part mold, how the hell to you do the layup and resin infusion hose / spiral routing?
