I've seen this with a relatively small cell size.  I was wondering if anyone has used it as I was curious to see if you can get away without an inner mould ie lay pre-wetted fabric on top of the core and bag it.  I'd have thought it was possible with such a small cell size and some care with wetting the cloth would prevent excess resin filling the cells.

Only ever used it the conventional way ie bonded between pre made sheets. Even with the small 3.2mm cell size I would of thought the wetted cloth would be pulled into the cells under vac leaving an uneven surface.
