This is one of my recent products for a client, it is a one piece seat and tank for a 1965 Royal Enfield 250cc race bike. Not exactly classic materials but a considerable weight saving over the original glass fibre unit .

That looks great, so I take it you have done this with multiple bits
I'm about to try my cafe racer seat and was concerned about having to much weave distortion due to the deep seat hump.
Looks fantastic tho buddy :0)
Cheers

Very nice work Chris, really like the mix of the old and the new with the filler cap.

Looks outstanding, very nice work.
Just out of interest, is that a void on the edge there, towards the back? Looks like a small impression, though it looks more like there was an impression in the original?

It was a two part mould, one for the top and one for the base. The little depression in the seat area was in the original part and my client asked for an identical replica so i left it in, then he had a moan at me for not filling it in
it is under the seat foam so you can not see it,cant win sometimes
it had to be a flip type Monza cap Warren, the bike will not be allowed to race with the tank unless its painted as no visible carbon is allowed in classic racing.
Chris
PS wont be doing another in a hurry

I would love to meet the person who came up with the saying "the customer is always right" I'd have a few choice words to say.

That looks cool as! Love it.
Any chance of a pic of the underside? Just to see how the top and bottom are joined together?
How many layers is that made up from?

Thats awesome. Can I ask how many hours (days) of work that took? I always like seeing other peoples mouldings. Knowing how much time and effort go into mine I'm kinda curious about how long other people take with theirs. It'd tell me if I fanny about too much!
