The cardboard tube the surface layer is shipped on has a normal but relatively small diameter.  When unrolling the surface layer, the prepreg is 'used to' being wound around the tube, which causes wrinkles in the carbon/epoxy matrix when unrolled.  This negatively effects the finished product.  Is there a technique to unrolling the surface layer so it does not wrinkle?
