Is there anyway to prevent the weave distorting? My first attempt I found that laying the cloth cause the weave to distort, wether this was because it was snagging on sticky resin in the mould or from coating the weave with a brush I'm not sure.

There must be a way though to keep the fibres together a little better, I find it quite a fragile material to work with. Could I take 2 layers of cloth and stick them together with resin so it's a bit more durable?

Basically I have some area's where the weave distorted, I'll try get some images up.

You dont have to do it to the second layer, as its not cosmetic.
If you mean to save time, yea, it might work if youre vac bagging
