Try using pro-finish.  This is exactly what its intended use is I believe.

I meant sticking two layers together before putting them into the mould, thought maybe 2x layers stuck together might stop the fibre from moving even more.

I'll try it with spray next time, I think I have 3M spray mount somewhere!

You dont have to do it to the second layer, as its not cosmetic.
If you mean to save time, yea, it might work if youre vac bagging

Thanks, this seems like a good idea!

Can I do this and then stick a 2nd layer to it?

I'm doing hand layup using a brush to apply the resin, I guess I risk not getting the resin to penetrate both layers of I stick 2 together?

Lay the cloth out on a flat surface and mist it with some spray adhesive. Just enough to make it hold, but not too much or it will snag.

Is there anyway to prevent the weave distorting? My first attempt I found that laying the cloth cause the weave to distort, wether this was because it was snagging on sticky resin in the mould or from coating the weave with a brush I'm not sure.

There must be a way though to keep the fibres together a little better, I find it quite a fragile material to work with. Could I take 2 layers of cloth and stick them together with resin so it's a bit more durable?

Basically I have some area's where the weave distorted, I'll try get some images up.
