Hi, I have recently purchased some of your chemical release agent and am having some issues getting the gel coat to lie in the mould properly. It appears to be repelling in areas and I am having to keep rebrushing to ensure complete coverage.

You are not doing anything wrong.  Easylease makes such a repellant surface that often any steep sides can cause the gelcoats to fisheye off.

The solution is next time add a coat of mould release wax on top of the easylease.  It reduces the slippyness of the exposed surface slightly and is usually enough to enable hand application of gel coats.

When putting on a coat of wax would this have to be polished off as normal,   Would it remove the easy lease and what happens when re coating with easy lease does the wax have to be cleaned off ???
