can gelcoat over cure?

Hi
last week I was making a mould but on had to go away very unexpectedly without finishing the mould,  tooling gelcoat had gone in wednesday + has been left till now, can it over cure rendering it useless or will I be ok laying up coupling coat + reinforcement as usual?

Addint ot what Warren said, if its not tacky at all, give it a very light wipe with some acetone, it will be slightly tacky again for a briem period, enough to lay another coat on.
