I always wonder how to close the bag when you have almost sealed it and when it comes to seal the last centimeters. Like in the picture :  What I do is, I cut a piece bagging tape, quite long, almost as long as the remaining bag length, and I stick to the bag, then I put the bag on the bottom tape. Any trick or good practrice guys ?

I never put the sealing tape on the flange and then apply the bag. The pleating makes me crazy its so hard. I lay the bagging sheet down flat on a table and then apply the sealing gum tape all the way around the perimeter of the bag. (leave the backing tape on)
I now flip it over on top of the mold and stick the corners down first. (peel off just enough backing tape to do this)
I now divide up the remaining spans with equally spaced pleats after removing the backing tape. You will NEVER go back to the other way once you have tried this method.

On a "smallish" mould like that I would just envelope bag it, much quicker and easier. Ok you use more bagging film but it is not hugely expensive. Warren

Fred, I never thought about doing it this way, I do it the EasyComposite way (cause I wen to the training sessions  ). So, why not, but I think your method would be difficult for a mould which is not square-shaped (if I well understood your way). In my case unfortunately, the flanges have not been made rectangular (not a good idea, for sure, as it makes all things more difficult). Bu I'll think about it. Thank you Fred. Warren, you're right, the modl is small, I should try it like you say, maybe with a piece of breather below the mold (to avoid scratching the bag). But, you're not answering the question about the pleats ;-p What if it's a big mold ?

Ok. I close the bag with a big pleat in the middle, quite a bit bigger than what is needed to close the bag. Peel back the backing off half of the pleat. Then lay it down flat the other way on top of the gum tape on the mould. So backing to backing. Starting from the corner stick the bag to the gum tape including the pleat. Now lift up the pleat to the vertical position. Peel off the backing from the rest of the gum tape including the pleat. Working from the other corner stick the bag to the gum tape working towards the pleat. You will get to a point where the bag is tight put you still have gum tape left. Now start sticking the pleat to the gum tape on the mould, so going back towards the corner you just started from until the bag is closed. Job done.Hard to describe in words so I hope that makes sense.

yeah I knew it would have been hard to describe, but I think I understood. I'll have to practrice a bit but I feel confident about it. it's good to have directions, cause sometimes I struggle with the last centimeters of bag and tape and it ends in a mess which is leaks prone. Thanks for your time !!!

If i envelope it, then i close it at one end against the seam of the bag (the lay flat tube edge) as i just run gum tape along bottom and over seam, so when you close it, you are closing gum tape on gum tape so no possibility of creases etc.
When bagging off the flange i do a large pleat in the middle and shut it on the pleat. Doesnt matter if its out as the pleat just soaks up the excess bag.
