Greetings to all

I've been playing around with resin infusion and have a very simple mould with a bend that works well.
What I would like to know is what material can I use that's got a high gloss finish that's cheap and either disposable or reusable to lay into the mould
and do the layup on top so I don't need to wax the mould and can peel the material off the mould and fibreglass,

Hope that makes sense....

Thanks in advance

D.

If I understand correctly, you need something like release film to avoid wax or release agent application before layup.

I am not very experienced but my guess is that you most likely find something like that, because all foils, films etc can wrinkle and mess with finish. But that's just my 2 cents.

Best wishes

Yes I'm looking for some form of film that can be laid into the mould..plan would be to tape it in place.

depending on the geometry i would say a PP or PE sheet, or teflon adhesive film. The latter will not result in a mirror finish tho.
