Hi I’m struggling to work out how to skin a dashboard bezel or similar round item . I need to know how to get it around the item and fold inside to cover the bezel. Do I cut a strip or lay a piece over and cut a hole in the middle? I’m stuck please help

Hi mate sorry tried and tried to upload and for some reason I not let me, best I can explain say is a mini has a central clock , around it there’s a plastic trim ring/bezel. Most of the mini dash has these trim rings round various items from the gear stick, speedo , cup holder etc. The bezels have an inside to them aswell so I want to cover all but obviously trying to lay carbon on a circle is fine till you start to wrap around either side , would I use a strip of material, go round then fold in, or a circle of material? This is where I’m stuck, will continue to try and upload , thanks for reply
