50mm is the upper limit on Glass Cast 50 for a single pour. If you have any doubt then I would recommend splitting it into two pours to be on the safe side. Most plastic or silicone moulds are ok at 50mm but anything with wood or an insulating material we recommend no thicker than 25mm per pour because the wood is such a good insulator that the heat build up during the resin cure can cause an excessively exothermic reaction.
The B stage depends on a few factors such as pour thickness, volume of the cast, presence of other materials, environmental conditions etc . Typically this can be between 12 and 24 hours taking into consideration those factors. Thicker the pour, the quicker it will B stage.
